Aviday Music didn't start in 2026 — it started in 1987. What began as Aviday Records in Detroit, Michigan was a gospel label built on faith, grit, and a love for real music. Founder David Robinson released his debut vinyl Listen To Lord that year, and the label went on to put out records from artists like J. Moss, The Futch Brothers, and Charlie Coats through the '90s.
Nearly four decades later, the mission hasn't changed — just the name. Aviday Music carries that same Detroit soul into a new era, now based in Charlotte, NC. From gospel and Christian music to funk, jazz, hip-hop, and R&B, the catalog spans genres but stays rooted in authenticity. Every artist on this label has a story, and every song carries weight.
We bridge the gap between analog soul and modern production — pulling sounds from vintage cassette tapes and breathing new life into them through cutting-edge technology. Aviday Music is where decades of musical heritage meet the future of sound.
